About Kiddo
Kiddo turns the stories parents and kids write into personalized, fully illustrated picture books — and into print-ready files you can publish on Amazon KDP.
What we do
You bring the words. Kiddo splits your story into pages, extracts the characters from your text, and illustrates every page in the style you pick — keeping each character looking the same from the first page to the last. Kiddo illustrates your story; it never writes it for you. The book is made foryour child (a dedication, a hero you describe in words), not built from a photo of them, and Kiddo makes no claim that any character “looks like” a real person.
How the book is made
You stay in control at two review checkpoints before anything is illustrated: the Storyboard, where you see how your words fall across the pages, and CastCall, where you fine-tune the characters Kiddo found in your text. Only then does Kiddo paint the pages. Every book supports five illustration styles — Gouache Storybook, Soft Watercolor, Animated Movie, Ink & Wash, and Folk Art — and nine languages, including fully right-to-left Hebrew and Arabic.
Why we built it
Great bedtime stories usually die in a notes app. Kiddo exists so the story a parent invents once can become a real, keepable, printable book — without a design tool, an illustrator budget, or a publishing pipeline. Books are free to create and preview; a single $9.99 export credit unlocks the print-ready files when you want to keep or publish one.
